Dreams & Fears, the latest collection of work to come from local artist Sterling Keesey, will be coming to Mulberry Art Studios this March. A First Friday Opening Reception will be held from 5-8pm on March 7, and the show will be on display for the entirety of the month. 

“My inspiration comes from my life and how I see the world,” notes Sterling Keesey. “Between impressionism and surrealism. My surreal art is based on my dreams and fears. My impressionism works are mainly from plein air painting. A fleeting moment in time that I see and capture, between me and god.”

For the past 8 years, Sterling has been working and perfecting his craft as an artist. Formerly a construction worker, Sterling made the decision to go for his dreams and passions as an artist, showing his work in several York and Harrisburg spaces. Sterling works in oil and acrylic, with a style that is both surreal and impressionistic. Sterling's work has been called breathtaking, mind opening, and almost completely a dream.
