Joanne Young Stephan: Retrospective, a lifetime of painting and calligraphy

Joanne Young Stephan will be bringing her collection of artwork to Mulberry Art Studios in April for her Retrospective exhibit. The show will open with a First Friday Reception from 5-8pm on April 4, and will remain on display for the entirety of April. 

Joanne Young Stephan is a graphic artist specializing in the lettering arts, with over 35 years experience in advertising, calligraply,

illustration and painting. Joanne is a graduate of Pennsylvania School of Art and Design.

Joanne works in water media, pen and ink, gouache, and watercolor. This collection is a retrospective of her life long passion for drawing, painting, and especially lettering. Joanne’s calligraphy is inspired by words that happen to come into her life, often inspired by religious subjects. Her paintings are influenced by her love of nature. Joanne has also enjoyed portrait painting of family and pets.
